IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If you are rude to ANY of our staff, your service will be CANCELLED immediately with NO REFUND. We understand if you have an issue needing to be resolved, but if you are unable to be respectful when speaking to us, we will simply not tolerate that kind of behavior.
General Service Information:
Our trucks start running routes as early as 6:00 AM, therefore, your trash MUST be outside by 6:00 AM on your scheduled collection day. On from that, our trucks run until 8:00 PM, so your trash could be picked up anytime between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please leave your trash out for the entirety of the day. Sometimes the timing of our arrival may change, and we don’t want to miss you if we come later than you expect.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your trash is out when the truck comes by. If your trash is not out when they come, you will have to wait until the following pickup day.
Please do not overload your trash can. The lids must be completely closed to prevent rainwater from getting in and animals/bugs/rodents from crawling inside. We will apply overage fees to your account if your trash can is overfilled/overflowing.
If your pickup day falls on a national holiday, we ask that you still put your trash out on that day regardless.
If you have excessive amounts of garbage on a regular basis, you will be notified of an increase in your monthly rate, given an option for an extra can, or have service immediately cancelled if it continues/is ignored.
If there happens to be a particular week where you have more garbage than normal, please contact our office to let us know at least one day in advance of your pickup day so we can alert our drivers to grab your extra trash.
Please do not allow anyone else to put their trash in your can. If our drivers suspect you are intentionally letting a non-customer use your can, you may be notified of an increase in monthly rate or have service immediately canceled if it continues/is ignored.
Following service termination, we expect our trash can to be in the same condition it was in when it was delivered to you (completely empty and cleaned out). The best way to keep your container clean and odor-free is with a garden hose and dishwashing soap. Vinegar is also a great deodorizing agent. Additionally, there are companies in the area that offer at-house can cleaning services.
Items we cannot pick up:
No yard debris of any kind (leaves, grass clippings, branches, etc).
No furniture, appliances, or similar bulk items during your weekly pickup — household garbage only.
PLEASE empty out all liquids before disposing of them in your trash bags.
Below are considered hazardous items that we CANNOT pick up (these must be properly disposed of at a local recycling center). Please do not put the following items in your can. You will be held liable and your service will be immediately cancelled — with no refund — if you put these items in with your trash, as we run the risk of being ticketed by the county and heavily fined.
Batteries
Electronics (TVs, computers, printers, monitors, etc.)
Fluorescent light bulbs
Paint and/or paint cans
Tires
Propane tanks
Oil — especially motor oil
Please email us if you need the information for recycling locations to dispose of these items.
We are not responsible for any possible spills or stains on your driveway/property from oil, paint, or liquids if you decide to place these items in your trash can.
Billing Information:
You have the option of online billing or paper billing.
Online bills are sent to your email address(es) one month in advance of the due date, along with email reminders throughout the month. You will receive a personal, secure payment link sent directly to your inbox. You also have the option to set up automatic payments through that link.
Paper bills are mailed roughly 3 weeks in advance of the due date. You can then mail in your payment via cash, a check, money order, or set up Bill Pay with your bank. (Mailing address: P.O. Box 482 Pelzer, SC 29669)
You may set up Bill Pay with your bank, but please be advised that we will be mailed a physical check, so please account for mailing delays. We ask that you have the payment made through Bill Pay at least one week in advance of your due date.
We are UNABLE to accept payments over the phone.
Late Payments:
If your payment is not received in our post office box or made online by the due date, service will be interrupted and a $10.00 late fee will be applied to your account. Service will remain interrupted until your payment is received, either in our P.O. box or online.
If your check bounces or your payment is rejected by your bank, you will be required to pay a $25.00 fee + the balance owed. We will then only accept payments in the form of cash or money order for at least one cycle to ensure your payments are authentic.
We give multiple notices before service is permanently cut off and your trash container is repossessed. We understand financial hardships and life happens, but if we have received no contact at all from you, your account will be completely removed from our system.
